Training Camp News

Posted Thursday, August 18, 2005 by Dave Der Cola

We just completed our fourth day of training camp and put on shoulder pads for the first time. The players are working hard and are picking up things pretty well. Some of our younger players are stuggling, but we are throwing a great deal at them. The leadership by our seniors has been tremendous, they are leading by example and are setting the tone for the team.

Many guys are showing great improvement from last year and are great examples of what you can do if you are willing to committ and work hard in the off-season. At the present time, we have 98 players in camp, and it is our sincere hope that all will stick it out. We have stressed that quitting when things get tough is the easy way out, staying and working thru your difficult moments is what is going to make you stronger for life.

Keep up the great work ethic and attitude.
