All players should begin the 8-week running program found in their player packets starting this week. This running program is an 3-day a week workout that players do on their own. In the past players have done the workout in groups to provide extra motivation and accountability.
As was stated in meetings at the high school and middle school, coming to training camp in good physical condition will make your life much easier. It will reduce your chances of both being injured and having any heat related illnesses.
This 8-week progression along with our strength training program will provide all of our players with a solid base of conditioning for the upcoming season. What are you doing to get ready when no one is watching you? The answer to this question will ultimately determine how successful we will be this season. Remember to "Hold The Rope."
