Study Hall Begins Tuesday

Wallkill Football players are expected to be student-athletes in every sense of the word. This means that they are students first. With this in mind, and with the fact that midterms are coming up, Study Hall sessions will begin this coming Tuesday, January 13th after school. They will run from 2:30-4:00 on every Tuesday and Thursday for the remainder of the school year.
Study Halls are a requirement for all Football student-athletes who are struggling in at least one core academic subject, and are open to any other student-athlete who wishes to attend. Currently there is a list posted in the teamroom of those students who received a negative comment or grade on their 5-week notice. If a student-athlete has a question as to whether or not they are to attend study hall, they should see a coach.
Study Halls provide an oportunity for students to get extra help from their teachers after school, assistance from a coach or tutor in any subject or on any assignment they need help with, or simply serve as a quiet environment inwhich to get their work done.
